At 1Password, we are committed to enabling everyone—from individuals to small businesses and enterprises—to secure their digital lives effortlessly. As the Director of Product Management – Growth, you’ll drive new revenue through product-led growth (PLG) initiatives and focusing on unlocking new opportunities for expansion. Your mission will be to increase product adoption through experimentation, optimize cross-sell and up-sell opportunities and reduce friction in areas such as product evaluation, buying and onboarding. You will also work with the extended team to look for future growth opportunities in the authentication space including passkeys and access gateway.
This role requires a data-driven leader who thrives on identifying opportunities, validating through experimentation, and scaling impactful solutions. You will collaborate cross-functionally to ensure growth strategies align with broader company goals and resonate across all customer touchpoints.
This is a remote opportunity within Canada and the US.
What we're looking for:
- 10+ years of product management experience, with 5+ years leading growth-focused initiatives, preferably in SaaS or B2B environments.
- Proven track record driving product-led growth strategies and running successful A/B experiments that deliver measurable outcomes.
- Strong understanding of the needs of all customer segments and experience solving problems that may be unique based on the size and maturity of the business.
- Strong experience and knowledge of the security space focusing on the Identity Access Management (IAM) category.
- A good understanding of modern authentication methods, including passkeys, and enthusiasm for driving adoption of secure technologies.
- Analytical and data-driven mindset; ability to set up, interpret, and act on KPIs and metrics.
- A track record of motivating and developing high-performing teams, fostering a culture of accountability, and setting high standards to achieve exceptional results.
- Exceptional collaboration and communication skills, with a talent for bringing together cross-functional teams to drive shared outcomes.
- Passion for continuous learning, experimentation, and iterating on solutions to maximize impact.
- Experience with self-serve SaaS models and expertise in balancing product usability with business outcomes.
What you can expect:
- Drive Product-Led Growth Initiatives: Identify, execute, and scale PLG strategies across the product lifecycle—from acquisition and activation to retention and expansion.
- Unlock Revenue through Optimizations: Lead product-based experiments to optimize conversion funnels, pricing models, and product experiences, ensuring both new and existing users realize value quickly.
- Drive Adoption of New Ways to Authenticate: Collaborate with the team to drive awareness, understanding, and rapid adoption of passkeys and access gateway across our customer base.
- Experimentation at Scale: Establish frameworks for rapid experimentation, validation, and iteration to inform data-driven decisions and growth opportunities.
- Measure and Optimize: Set, track and continually optimize key performance indicators (KPIs) that reflect product-led growth success and help achieve our business goals.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner with product, engineering, design, data, marketing, and sales teams to align growth strategies with company priorities.
- Inspirational Leadership: A track record of motivating and developing high-performing teams, fostering a culture of accountability, and setting high standards to achieve exceptional results.
- Customer-Focused Innovation: Champion the voice of the customer to uncover opportunities for frictionless, delightful product experiences that promote growth.
