The Emerging Leader Rotational Program (ELRP) is a highly-selective, three-year career journey designed to accelerate your professional and leadership development. This program combines structured learning, rotational work experiences, high exposure to leadership, and ongoing learning, fostering the unique opportunity to impact the business early on in your career.

Throughout this immersive experience, you will develop expertise in multiple areas of the business alongside a cohort of top tier talent. ELRP provides each Emerging Leader with a deep understanding of our company and the legal tech industry.

What You’ll Do

Structured learning: You will begin your journey in DISCO University and “law school”, where business leaders and professors equip you with the DISCO and industry-specific business, legal, leadership and technical expertise you need to thrive in your rotations.

Project work: A highlight of onboarding is an accelerated hackathon focused on addressing a critical issue or opportunity. You will work closely with a small group, interview senior DISCOvians and clients, and build an idea from the bottom up. Teams present their solutions to the CEO and executive team, and receive feedback with the possibility of budget and time to implement their ideas.

Meet your class: You and other associates from top-tier universities will all begin your DISCO journey at the same time as a cohort. As an associate, you will get to know Austin/NYC and your colleagues through team building and social events.

Rotational work experiences: You will complete rotations to learn the basics of our business, and work closely with program managers and mentors to match your strengths and interests to a permanent role. Rotations are 9-12 months over the course of 3 years. Examples of past rotations include, but are not limited to: customer success, product marketing, HR, product management, recruiting, financial planning & analysis, operations, or business intelligence. Following your rotation, you can progress within that department or transition to another team.

Ongoing learning and career development: Throughout your rotations, you will participate in continuous leadership and professional development to assist you on your career journey. You will receive support for your learning and careers through a variety of assessments, one-to-one coaching, project sponsors, and capable, trained people managers.

Make a meaningful impact.

Law affects everyone, from multinational corporations, governments to individual citizens. However, the legal industry has lagged behind other industries in digitization and cloud technology adoption. The opportunity to innovate through legal technology can be quantified not only in billions of dollars, but in life-changing experiences for attorneys, freed from mundane tasks and able to fully do what they went to law school for.

We believe that great achievements come from aiming great people at big problems; and DISCOvians are the principal driver of our success. Our commitment to creating an environment where all people feel welcome and connected regardless of their backgrounds, along with our MAGIC culture and values (Meaningful Impact, All-in, Grit and Grace, Innovation and Craft) shape the way we treat each other, serve our customers, and give back to our community.
