Your Impact
The Senior Data Operations Analyst consults with customers around the world to prepare data for legal review in DISCO’s eDiscovery platform, provides assistance to end-users throughout the legal discovery process, and troubleshoots technical issues. They provide critical technical input to the Engineering team to diagnose and address platform issues and prioritize enhancements to the product.
What You'll Do
- Data Processing and Management: Coordinates the processing, loading, and metadata overlay of unstructured (email, office documents, etc.) and structured data (load file and production data) to and from the eDiscovery platform. Remediates exceptions to unstructured and structured data using standard exception handling procedures. Manipulates structured data (load file and production data) for ingest and overlay in the eDiscovery platform. Escalates data issues encountered with unstructured and structured data that are not covered by standard exception handling procedures.
- Quality Control and Project Management: Performs thorough quality control and validations on all assigned tasks prior to delivery. Prioritizes workload assignments and communicates job status and potential issues to internal and external stakeholders. Accurately logs and classifies issues to provide complete information for engineering interventions, product improvements, reporting, and other needs within DISCO. Manages multiple projects and high-priority initiatives with competing and impending deadlines.
- Continuous Improvement and Communication: Proactively contributes to product improvements and related documentation. Adheres to company policies and procedures for creating, updating, and resolving tickets. Proactively monitors open tickets in Salesforce, contact customers, and provide timely updates. Operates with a high degree of professionalism and quality of service to internal members/departments of DISCO, as well as external clients and vendors.
Who You Are
- More than three years of eDiscovery data processing experience
- More than one year of experience with relational databases such as SQL or MS Access.
- More than one year of experience with Excel (vlookups, macros, formulas, etc.).

- Knowledge of various data storage methodologies, data collections, data processing and methods of electronic production.
- Strong interest in technology with excellent problem-solving skills, with initiative to research and craft creative technical solutions.
- Attention to detail, strong organization, and client-service orientation skills.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) in order to interact effectively with coworkers and clients.
- Ability to accurately determine a client’s requirements and take ownership of client requests.
