The Role:

GreenLite’s GLX line of business is seeking a Sales Manager. In this role, you are primarily responsible for forming and implementing comprehensive growth and development strategies to meet the company's overarching sales goals. You will work closely with your team of account executives as well as across the business with Sales Operations, Operations, Product, and the leadership team. GreenLite is remote-first, but your duties may take you to cities across the country. You will become the entrusted leader of the GLX sales team and you play a critical role in driving business growth that has a meaningful impact on the long-term success and growth of GreenLite.

Here are some examples of what you’ll be doing:

  • Leading and executing sales quotas
  • Creating, implementing, and building on new and existing sales processes to better meet sales targets across the sales team
  • Coaching, recruiting, and keeping accountable members of the sales team to build a well-functioning, scalable sales team of “A” players
  • Nurturing and owning key strategic customer accounts in partnership with sales organization and sometimes C-Suite relationships both internal and external to GreenLite
  • Working on the infrastructure to build out a broader revenue organization which may include marketing, revenue operations, post-sales support, and more
  • Working closely with cross-functional leaders within GLX and across the GreenLite organization including Operations, Finance, Product, and the leadership team
  • Passionately supporting our commitment to creating an outstanding experience for our prospects & customers

  • Meet and exceed sales targets of the company
  • You are efficiently able to build and articulate processes and playbooks that you and the rest of the sales team implement to be more efficient through the sales process to meet sales targets and KPIs better
  • You create the infrastructure and “playbooks” to scale into a large well-functioning sales team as we continue to grow
  • You work closely with the General Manager and Sales Operations Manager to develop and refine targets and structures for the Sales team to work toward and within
  • You are involved in marquee deals to ensure there is a Senior presence to resolve any friction and bring deals over the line to closed / won
  • You are viewed as a leader and contribute to a positive and collaborative culture focused on continuous improvement

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in a sales leadership role with a demonstrated ability to develop and lead a high-performing sales organization
  • 5-10+ years experience in sales selling commercial real estate, property tech, construction tech, and/or Solar/Energy/Renewables
  • Demonstrated track record of consistently exceeding sales performance metrics, e.g. quotas, pipeline, and forecast accuracy with experience consistently closing deals upward of six to seven figures
  • In-depth cross-functional experience related to sales and revenue operations, operations, marketing, business operations, FP&A, etc.
  • Process-oriented & highly skilled in creating, executing, and iterating on new and ongoing processes for all things related to sales and cross-functional sales needs
  • Passion, drive, and excitement around creating and executing
  • Experience using CRM tools (we use HubSpot now)
  • Highly entrepreneurial mindset that works well in a fast-paced environment
  • Outstanding presentation, communication, & networking skills
  • Experience working directly with mid-market to enterprise clients
  • Independent thinker with the ability to find the tools & resources to be successful
  • Comfortable working on greenfield projects & willingness to embody the culture & principles of an early-stage company
  • Honest & direct without any ego
