As the first point of contact, you’ll be responsible for prospecting, building a pipeline, and engaging with leads to set up our sales team for success. The ideal SDR will have strong communication skills, the ability to quickly adapt and learn, and the initiative to work without an existing playbook. You’ll have the opportunity to play a critical role in building our market share and brand recognition in key industries as well as potential to explore new customers and channels.
What you’ll be doing
On any given day, you can expect to do the following key activities:
- Target List Building: Develop or refine prospect lists aligned with the ideal customer profile (ICP) to build a robust sales pipeline.
- Prospect Outreach: Utilize CRM tools, cold calls, emails, social media, and other channels to initiate meaningful connections with prospects.
- Lead Qualification: Identify prospect needs, assess fit for the product, and qualify leads based on readiness and alignment with our business goals.
- Educate and Engage: Share relevant information about GreenLite’s offerings, clearly demonstrating value and addressing prospect concerns.
- Follow-Up Management: Engage consistently with interested leads to keep momentum and increase conversion rates.
- Lead Handoff: Seamlessly transition qualified leads to the sales team with detailed prospect insights for effective follow-ups.
- Relationship Building: Develop trusting, long-term relationships with prospects to nurture loyalty and future opportunities.
- Deliver Marketing Content: Share targeted marketing materials and resources that resonate with each prospect's specific needs.
- Performance Reporting: Regularly update the Sales Manager and Sales Operations Manager on lead generation progress through weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports.
- Process Improvement: Continuously refine outreach techniques, ICP targeting, and lead qualification criteria to optimize conversion and pipeline flow.
How you’ll be evaluated
We will define specific goals together for your first 30, 60, and 90 days:
- Pipeline Health: Identify and reach out to potential customers to build and nurture a high-quality sales pipeline, laying the groundwork for consistent lead conversion and predictable funnel health.
- Lead Qualification: Utilize CRM tools to qualify, track, and advance leads, representing GreenLite’s solutions with precision. Ensure alignment with customer needs and facilitate a seamless handoff to sales executives.
- Meetings Secured & Held: Consistently book meetings with high-quality leads, ensuring alignment with customer fit and readiness for engagement. Capture comprehensive notes during discovery meetings to guide next steps and drive higher deal closure rates. Through discovery and followup, ensure that booked meetings convert to productive discussions that drive the sales process.
- Process Improvement: Continuously refine the lead-generation playbook by identifying effective strategies and suggesting improvements to create a scalable, automated sales process.
- Team Culture & Collaboration: Actively contribute to a positive team culture by collaborating with other functions, participating in events, and staying informed on industry trends to drive GreenLite’s growth.

You are comfortable following and iterating on a playbook.
- Effective Communicator: Your exceptional interpersonal and adaptive communication skills allow you to tailor messaging dynamically in consultative sales conversations.
