Our Company

Founded in 2022, GreenLite is revolutionizing development in America by streamlining the collaboration between developers, builders, and local regulatory authorities. GreenLite’s software powers its Private Plan Review offering, serving many of the nation’s largest public retailers, developers, and production home builders. By leveraging GreenLite’s technology, its customers save months on each project, significantly accelerating their timelines and staying within budget.

GreenLite is founded by experts in technology, development, and within the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) industry, and backed by leading venture capital firms. GreenLite is at the forefront of the privatization of construction permitting and plan review, reshaping a multi-hundred billion dollar industry.

GreenLite has raised nearly $40M from the country’s leading venture capital investors, including Craft Ventures, who led GreenLite’s $28.5M Series A. We’re well capitalized to achieve our mission of revolutionizing the plan review and construction permitting process across the country.

The Role

GreenLite is seeking a Technical Recruiter to help us scale our engineering, product, and design teams. This role will focus on hiring exceptional ML/AI Engineers, Full Stack Engineers, Product Managers, and Designers who can thrive in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.

You’ll be responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and outreach to offer negotiation, while partnering closely with hiring managers to craft strategies that attract top-tier talent. You’ll also be a key part of shaping GreenLite’s candidate experience and employer brand.

Role Type: Hybrid NYC

At GreenLite, we place value in our in-office culture – the relationships and collaboration it builds and the creativity it brings to the table. We operate as a hybrid workplace 3–4+ days per week to enable balance for our teammates while keeping GreenLite’s goals top of mind.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, success metrics, and ideal candidate profiles.

  • Source, engage, and build relationships with highly skilled ML/AI engineers, full stack developers, product managers, and designers.

  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle: sourcing, screening, interview scheduling, feedback coordination, reference checks, and offer negotiation.

  • Leverage creative sourcing strategies including LinkedIn Recruiter, networking events, referrals, and outbound campaigns.

  • Build and maintain a high-quality pipeline of technical talent for current and future roles.

  • Ensure an outstanding candidate experience at every stage of the process.

  • Track and analyze recruiting metrics to continuously improve efficiency and quality of hires.

  • Collaborate with People Ops to ensure competitive, equitable, and market-aligned offers.

  • Contribute to employer branding initiatives to showcase GreenLite’s culture and opportunities.

How You’ll Be Evaluated

  • Quality of Hires: The technical skill, cultural fit, and impact of the hires you make.

  • Time to Fill: Your ability to efficiently move candidates through the funnel without compromising quality.

  • Pipeline Strength: Diversity, depth, and readiness of your candidate pipelines.

  • Collaboration: Effectiveness in partnering with hiring managers and cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Candidate Experience: Feedback from candidates regarding communication, transparency, and professionalism.

  • Market Expertise: Your ability to understand and navigate competitive technical talent markets, especially in ML/AI and product.

What We’re Looking For

  • 4–8+ years of recruiting experience, with at least 3 years focused on technical roles (ML/AI, engineering, product, design).

  • Proven track record of sourcing and closing candidates in competitive talent markets.

  • Experience partnering with senior leaders to influence hiring decisions and strategies.

  • Deep understanding of technical skill sets, especially ML/AI engineering, full stack development, and product design workflows.

  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (Ashby experience is a plus).

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Highly organized, self-directed, and adaptable in fast-paced environments.

  • Passion for building diverse and high-performing teams.
