About the opportunity

Homeward Title is looking for a high performing Title & Escrow Manager to join our team. The Title and Escrow Manager will be responsible for managing a team of Escrow Officers and Assistants that processes title documents and communicate to the customer their closing details. They will oversee processes to ensure transactions get completed by coordinating receiving necessary Title & Escrow information. They must demonstrate familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the escrow/title industry.

About you:

  • 5 + years of leadership and team management experience within the title industry
  • Escrow license
  • Familiar with all areas in the title process from start to finish
  • Track record of success in the title and settlement industry
  • Experience managing a title agency with a focus on resale transactions
  • Previous experience launching and scaling operations is a strong plus
  • Experience with Qualia preferred but not required
  • Possess exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to addressing discrepancies.
  • Customer-oriented and capable of prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced, ever-changing atmosphere while exceeding client expectations.
  • Can communicate concisely and clearly.
  • Tech-savvy: Comfortable with technology and adept at learning new programs quickly.
  • Embrace a fun, empathetic, positive attitude, and be ready to assist wherever necessary.

Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Collaborate with the Homeward Title management team to devise, communicate, and execute new policies and procedures to enable market expansion.
  • Utilize data and metrics to recognize trends and manage the team's performance.
  • Address problems to strengthen the implementation of best practices.
  • Ensure compliance across documents, audits, and issue resolution.
  • Analyze essential reports, scrutinize data, and make informed decisions for teams of Escrow Officers, Escrow Assistants, Funders, and Examiners.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for state-specific issues, and collaborate with other departments to offer title recommendations.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for pressing market concerns.

Pay and benefits

  • Compensation: $90,000 - $100,000
