Our engineering team is hybrid and meets in-person one to two days a week.

About the Role

As an Integrations Engineer at Keep Aware, you will play a crucial role in both developing our platform and shaping our product roadmap. This position requires a deep understanding of customer pain points in technical IT and cybersecurity, with hands-on experience in developing IT security integrations, and a solid foundation in networking and IT concepts.

Responsibilities:

  • User Interface & Backend Development: Designing and developing user interfaces and backend APIs for performance and scalability.
  • Customer-Centric Integration: Understanding customer pain points in cybersecurity, focusing on effective integrations.
  • Software Development: Building and iterating on current integrations and developing new ones with other security solutions. Writing basic CRUD-level applications and ETL pipelines.
  • Documentation & Training Materials: Creating comprehensive documentation/guides using markdown, Adobe InDesign, or Figma. Developing examples and recorded guides for deployments.
  • Technical Integration Knowledge: Documenting technical integrations, including technologies such as OAuth, Syslog, API webhooks, AAD, Directories, SSO.
  • Customer Interaction: Occasionally engaging in customer calls for troubleshooting, deployment assistance, and data gathering for bug fixing.
  • Partner Collaboration: Working with potential partners on integrations and maintaining strong engineering relationships.

Qualifications:

  • Industry Experience: Proven background in software engineering, preferably in fast-growing companies.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong experience in IT or Cybersecurity (Windows/Group Policy/Powershell), and understanding of Web APIs, NodeJS, JavaScript, cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
  • Collaboration Skills: Excellent team collaboration abilities and adaptability to the evolving needs of a growing company.
  • Project Ownership: Demonstrated ability to lead projects with a focus on customer-centric solutions.
  • Organizational Skills: Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
  • Cybersecurity Knowledge: In-depth understanding of cybersecurity and IT technologies.
