The Impact
As the Founding Product Manager, you’ll have the opportunity to lead product strategy from the ground up and work directly with the co-founders. We’re looking for a candidate who wants to drive product success initiatives forward through thoughtful partnerships, strong organization and product management skills, and outstanding execution.
What you'll do
Partner with engineering, sales, and customer success teams, accurately identifying product trade-offs between scope, timelines, quality, understanding the Method’s technical design, and predicting roadblocks
Partner with the go-to-market teams to ensure Method’s vision aligns best for our customers whether they are prospective or already utilizing Method’s API
Establish best practices to address customer needs, communicating them clearly to all stakeholders in a timely manner
Monitor product performance, gather statistical data and insights to evaluate productivity
Gather all core business problems and requirements from existing customers, prospective customers, and other strategic initiatives
Monitor industry trends and competition to shape product decisions and strategy
Who you are
5+ years of experience in a product management role ideally managing relationships with fintech and/or API-focused companies
Familiarity with modern web services and APIs
Sophisticated business sense and understanding of underlying drivers and strategy of our customer’s technical needs
Have the ability to work with a high degree of autonomy but also balancing out working dynamically with a wide range of people, both internally and externally
Have the motivation and flexibility to work well in a high-growth environment where things change quickly
Have strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and be able to work under pressure to solve technical problems for Method’s customers

Experience working at a smaller stage company / start-up environment
