About the Job
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior DevSecOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with AWS, a strong background in security practices related to Personally Identifiable Information (PII), and experience in penetration testing. Additionally, experience managing serverless, service-oriented architectures on AWS is a plus.
Job Requirements
  • 6+ years of experience in a DevOps/Security role, with a strong focus on AWS.
  • In-depth knowledge of security best practices, particularly concerning PII.
  • Hands-on experience with penetration testing and security auditing tools.
  • Experience maintaining and updating Linux based servers.
  • Familiarity with Observability and Monitoring tools.
Technical Preferences
  • Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
  • Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
What You Will Do
  • Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and high-performance infrastructure on AWS.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth deployment of applications.
  • Implement and enforce security best practices, particularly related to PII.
  • Conduct regular security audits and penetration tests to identify and mitigate potential vulnerabilities.
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to enhance system reliability, performance, and scalability.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and monitoring.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues in a timely manner.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in DevOps, cloud computing, and security.

This is a full-time, in-person position in our Austin, TX office.
