Role Overview: Are you passionate about enhancing customer experiences and creating impactful journeys? Closinglock is hiring our first Customer Marketing Manager to own and optimize our customer journey—from onboarding to ongoing engagement. In this strategic individual contributor role, you'll develop targeted campaigns to drive product usage, engagement, and retention, working closely with sales, customer success, operations, and product teams to align our approach. Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and optimize onboarding, training, and engagement journeys to ensure post-purchase success.
  • Ensure GTM success and drive product adoption and engagement by communicating new products and features
  • Build automated customer journeys based on usage to boost product adoption.
  • Develop impactful and elegant onboarding and ongoing customer enablement material to allow our teams to deliver the greatest impact
  • Create and execute lifecycle campaigns from strategy to launch, with clear goals and performance metrics.
  • Craft targeted customer communications across channels like email, in-product messaging, and events.
  • Map the customer journey for cross-functional visibility and continuous optimization.
  • Segment customer database for tailored campaigns and messaging.
  • Develop content assets, collaborating with copy and design to enhance campaigns.
  • Promote customer advocacy with referral programs and engage through newsletters, events, and more.
  • Utilize innovative tools and technologies to uplevel the customer experience
  • Work closely with sales, account management, and product teams to enhance customer experience, engagement, and retention.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in customer lifecycle marketing
  • Data driven - you can tell a story of how your work impacted the bottom line
  • Demonstrated ability to use marketing to increase customer retention, engagement and satisfaction
  • Knowledge of best practices surrounding effective messaging, funnel optimization, email marketing, customer segmentation and testing strategies.
  • Experience in creating marketing and customer enablement material at scale
  • Expertise in email marketing and marketing automation tools
  • Bonus if you have successfully scaled a customer referral program, have experience driving adoption of new products and features, and / or have a proven ability to grow revenue from existing accounts

This is a full-time, in-person position in our Austin, TX office.
