About the Role

We’re looking for a highly motivated Sales Manager to oversee our growing SMB Account Executive team. This role is a player-coach position—ideal for someone who enjoys leading a team while still being close to the sales process. You’ll be responsible for driving individual and team performance, coaching and developing your team, and working cross-functionally to ensure SMB clients receive maximum value from Closinglock.

Responsibilities

  • Manage, coach, and develop a team of Account Executives in the SMB space
    Monitor and drive team performance to meet and exceed revenue targets
  • Provide regular feedback through 1:1s, deal reviews, and performance coaching
  • Serve as a strategic thought partner to Sales Leadership in refining our SMB strategy
  • Track and report on key sales metrics and pipeline performance
  • Identify areas for process improvement and work with cross-functional partners (Marketing, RevOps, Product, Customer Success, etc.) to implement solutions
  • Lead by example—jump in on key deals, demos, and customer calls as needed

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience leading or mentoring sales teams, in SaaS or a high-growth startup environment
  • 3 + years of experience in a closing role with a proven track record of exceeding quota
  • Strong coaching skills with a passion for developing others
  • Data-driven mindset and experience using CRM systems
  • Experience selling to SMB clients is a strong plus
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving environment where change is the norm

This is a full-time, in-person position in our Austin, TX office.
