Role Summary

Lead Network Design and Deployment Architecture of Mavenir IMS products for customer labs and production sites. Prepare artifacts of Product architecture, software deployment MoPs and Call Flow related to IMS core interaction with Mavenir RCS/PRS/VMAS and mStore products. Deploy Mavenir Products i.e., TAS/CSCF/RCS/UCCAS/PRS based Redhat and VMWARE virtualization platform in customer. Installation of IaaS, CaaS and PaaS to setup the Kubernetes cluster and Integration of Mavenir IMS solution products such as IMS core, TAS and RCS to the customer lab and production sites. Acceptance Test Plan creation/execution/design - work with the customers to understand the feature requirements and develop an acceptance test plan and lead the test execution for Mavenir messaging products – RCS, PRS & CDB along with Message Store (mStore). Coordinate product delivery, bug fixes and change requests across the various teams – define phases and dates for software delivery. Issue tracking/debugging of software, network, and platform issues especially troubleshoot and fix Kubernetes based platform complexities to maintain the Container Attached Services and avoid downtimes in customer premises. Find technical workarounds for temporary solutions. Coordinate with design and development teams to channelize fixes for bugs. Interact with technical and non-technical teams of partner and vendor companies.

Key Responsibilities

  • IMS network architecture protocols such as SIP, DIAMETER, MSRP, RTP, DNS.
  • IMS application Network Integration such as TAS, RCS & PRS with third party IMS, Billing and Legacy products in customer environments.
  • IP design, CIQ preparation, Interface design and resource sizing.
  • Test Planning to understand feature requirements and test execution.
  • Troubleshooting and debugging using TRLs, CDRs, Call Trace, and other relevant tools.
  • Customer Consulting for various artifacts review like CIQ.
  • Deployment Architecture, Deployment /Upgrade process documents along with test /deployment strategy.

Job Requirements

Job requirements: Position requires a Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or related field (foreign equivalent acceptable) and 5 years of progressively responsible experience in Telecommunications Engineering or a Master’s in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or related field (foreign equivalent acceptable) and 2 years of experience in Telecommunications Engineering. The experience that is required must have involved the following (experience may be gained concurrently):

  • IMS network architecture protocols such as SIP, DIAMETER, MSRP, RTP, DNS.
