Role Summary

Plans, designs, develops and tests software systems or applications for software enhancements and new products including cloud-based or internet-related tools.

L2/L3 development in 5G for Terrestar

Job Requirements

4 to 12 years in any Wireless (4G/5G) protocol stack especially FAPI, MAC, RLC, RRC
Good understanding of 3GPP specification.
Good understanding of software engineering aspects – data structures, IPCs, system services (memory management, event handing), computer architecture fundamentals (caching, memory hierarchy)
Good understanding of any make system, white box testing
Good understanding of GIT
Travel to FOA site for debugging
Experience Radisys Stacks and Intel FlexRAN (bbupool, WLS)
Exposure in running/porting legacy implementation to virtualized environment is a plus.
Exposure to Netconf/Yang is a plus.
Familiar with debugging tools (gdb), code management tools (CVS/GIT) . Field deployment experience will be add on.
