Role Summary

Manage Solution Architecture team for company Digital Enablement Product Line. Manage work breakdown structure by distributing tasks, providing technical alignment to the Solution Architecture team and orchestrating communications with globally distributed customers of company. Verify deliveries of solution architecture team which includes technical breakdown of business requirements into functional requirements, High-Level/Low-Level Designs for all BSS products including but not limited to Billing, CRM, Order Management, Charging and Mediation. Manage customer relationship and lead critical discussions/escalations with customers while ensuring strategic leadership direction is maintained with the customers to ensure business continuity. Liaison communications with different functional groups within the company and its external System Integration Partners. Provide technical input to MDE Product Management team on new technical features enhancing product value. Responsible to ensure system engineering best practices are followed to maintain and/or enhance development margins for the business unit. Orchestrate project communication with various technical teams of the company (Solution Engineering, Development and Operations) to ensure timely and quality delivery of the Business Unit’s objectives. Travel up to 20% of the time, international and domestic, for customer solution consultancy and requirement gathering.

Job Requirements

Position requires a Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or related field (foreign equivalent acceptable) and 5 years of experience as a Solution Designer or a related occupation in the Telecommunications Industry or a Master’s in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or related field (foreign equivalent acceptable) and 2 years of experience as a Solution Designer or a related occupation in the Telecommunications Industry. The experience that is required must have involved the following (experience may be gained concurrently): Experience must include:

• Experience as a Solution Designer for BSS components and their integration interfaces.
• Product design experience
• Experience with cloud-scale enterprise software deployed globally
• Experience of managing BSS user experience requirements from CSP
• Technical experience translating BSS business requirements into technical high level system design
• Direct experience in producing BSS Design and Architectural blueprints
