Role Summary

Install, commission, and integrate Mavenir RAN solution including DU, CU, CMS, and both NFV and Containerized based solutions. Prepare essential documentation, including deployment layout and integration details (CIQ). Prepare configuration files for Radio sites and carriers using customer provided information in CIQ. Ensure end-to-end connectivity for the RAN solution with packet core, including Synchronization (PTP) and other OpenRAN interfaces (Control, User and & Management M-Plane). Perform deployment for RAN network functions on Kubernetes infrastructure. Provide root cause analysis, workarounds, and bug fixes for issues during integration phase. Identify problems and choose appropriate architectural solutions including designing, specifying, implementing, and testing solutions. Provide technical support for Mavenir RAN solution at customer location. Defect triage and call flow analysis among multiple vendors for DISH RAN solution. Position requires 15% travel to customer locations for site commissioning, sales workshops, and business meetings.

Job Requirements

Requires a Master’s degree in Computer Information Systems or a directly related field plus six (6) months of experience as a Test Engineer or a related occupation that works with RAN.

Must have six (6) months of experience in each of the following (experience may be gained concurrently):

• LTE RAN and EPC, including VoLTE and IMS architecture
• Data structures and utilizing them for the product development
• Networking, Virtual Machines, and OpenStack concepts
• DB applications like MySQL, CouchBase DB, and NetConf based
• Accessing repositories: Git
• Python or Shell to design and support the Call Flow Testing and debugging
• Virtualization technologies
• Open Stack, Redhat, cloud computing deployment practices on the involved VNFs
