Role Summary

As a QA engineer, you will be an integral part of the scrum team, working together with other developers and QA engineers to deliver working code that meets our customers' requirements. We focus heavily on automation testing and utilize continuous integration to ensure that any issues are discovered and fixed as soon as possible. Our Mavenir Converged Packet Core products are cloud native and we utilize containerization technologies in our everyday work.

Key Responsibilities

Creation and modification of automated tests

Ensuring that the tested features meet all their technical requirements

Helping developers fix any discovered issues

Working with the developers during test driven development

Maintaining traceability of our testing

Assisting the documentation team in creating product documentation

Job Requirements

NECESSARY:
- Experienced in pytest or a similar Python test framework

- Experienced in using Linux command line

- Familiar with Docker
- Familiar with Wireshark or a similar packet analyzer

- Familiar with common network protocols

NICE TO HAVE:

- Experienced in C++

- Experienced in using Kubernetes
- Familiar with Jenkins

- Familiar with SS7 and other telecommunication protocols
