Role Summary

Internship Developer grows as an integral part of a mature SCRUM team and decides with the team on appropriate stories/tasks to take on. Such decision considers appropriate complexity, impact and turn time constraints.

Key Responsibilities

Internship (part time) developer is supposed to become integral part of broader Czech Mavenir 5G Core Telco development team. Main responsibilities:

• Design and implement internal improvements and fix internal problems under guidance of senior developers
• Help with propagation of complex fixes to customer customization branches
• Fix lower priority customer bugs
• Reproduce and troubleshoot selected issues

Job Requirements

Experienced in C++ is a must have

Experience with Python is a plus

Following technologies and tools are of a daily use in the team so some experience is a plus:

- Linux, git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, TCP/IP, http2

Communication within the local team is in Czech/Slovak. Documentation and communication with global team is in English (spoken & written)

However the senior buddy is assigned to assist and mentor the intern, some level of self-study and independence is expected.

Office/hybrid/remote - everything is possible based on preference and efficiency.
