Job Requirements

• Experience: 4 to 6 years
• Strong experience as a cloud storage architect/administrator on any of the object/block storage technologies such as Openstack Swift, SwiftStack, Zadara, Scalatiy, Cleversafe, AWS-S3, Redhat Ceph, NetApp, etc.
• Strong experience in administering any distributed storage clusters (object/block storage or BigData or Hadoop or NoSQL)
• Strong understanding of distributed storage concepts, architectures, and technologies etc.
• Demonstrated experience with any object/block storage implementation/administration, performance tuning, etc.
• Strong experience in object/block storage high availability & scalability (replication setup & cluster)
• Proven experience in deploying/managing large sized production object/block storage clusters of multi-peta bytes scale (integrated appliance or COTS)
• Familiarity with Openstack (on premise cloud) storage stack such as Cinder, Glance, Block, Object, etc.
• Experience on storage dimensioning/sizing based on business requirements.
• Good experience on linux shell/python scripting and automation suits such as Ansible, Salt, Puppet, etc.
• Open to work in a multiple storage technologies and BigData environment with major focus on scale out object/block store architect, design and deployment.
• Exposure to AWS/Azure/GCP (public clouds) is a plus but not mandatory
• Exposure to telecom domain is a plus but not mandatory
• Able to work as an individual contributor/expert interfacing with the customer architects and higher management to deliver multi-peta bytes object/block store solutions.
• Mentor/guide internal stakeholders and customer teams on object/block store architecture, implementation, sizing, tuning aspects.
• Pro-active, dedicated, committed and ability to take end to end ownership of object/block storage technologies stack.
• Good team player with strong analytical, communication skills.
