Role Summary

Design FPGA modules for cellular radios
Integrate the Design with top level LPHY design
Test the design on the development board in the lab

Key Responsibilities

• FPGA block design based on requirement spec

• RTL code development

• Test on RFSOC based board

• Design documentation

Job Requirements

• Very good knowledge on latest Xilinx/Intel FPGA architecture preferably

• Strong knowledge on digital design and excellent Verilog/VHDL coding skill

• Xilinx: Zynq/UltraScale/Ultrascale+); Intel: Stratix10

• Signal Processing (DSP) design experience

• Physical layer functional block implementation experience in FPGA

• Exhaustive working experience on Vivado (and/or Quartus) tool design flow

• Experience on high-speed clocks and fixing timing closure in FPGA

• Experience on functional verification and ILA debugging

• Knowledge on AXI-4/DDR3-4/SPI/I2C interfaces & Ethernet/CPRI protocol

• Experience on GTX/GTH transceivers & 10GE MAC/DMA controller/PCIe Gen3/CPRI/JESD/FFT IP cores

• Working experience/Architecture design exp involving DSP, ADC, DAC

• Familiarity with Sampling, Up/down conversion, Mixer, NCO, Mux/De-mux etc.

• Knowledge on resource and performance estimation

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in EE, ECE or equivalent from reputed institutions.

• 5 to years of work experience.
