Role Summary

Provides technical expertise through customer presentations, product demonstrations, installation, of company products and solutions. Assists the sales staff in assessing potential application of company products to meet customer needs and preparing detailed product specifications for the development and implementation of customer applications/solutions. May build POCs based on customer requirements to demonstrate feasibility of the application/solution, often requiring rapid prototyping and/or product demo for client. May provide software development and consultation to customers and/or product capability assessment and validation. Ensures that the product application/solution is functioning according to specifications. May provide follow-up support to Sales, Ops and customer personnel by disseminating technical information on specific applications/solutions

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop AI based Radio algorithms, including DPD, CFR, beamforming, channel estimation.

2. Work with system engineering team to push radio technology innovations.

3. Work with FPGA, ASIC, SW, HW team for algorithm implementation.

4. Drive patent submission.

Job Requirements

1. Composite Knowledge Structure: Candidates must possess a composite knowledge base that integrates in-depth understanding of wireless communication systems with a strong foundation in AI principles, strengths, and limitations. This includes the ability to assess the feasibility and reasonableness of employing AI solutions in various communication applications.

2. Industry Experience or Academic Background:

- Industry Route: Proven experience in AI-enabled product R&D within a communication company. A track record of successfully applying AI techniques to solve communication-related problems, demonstrating sensitivity to system pain points and critical issues.

- Academic Route: A bachelor's degree in Communication, followed by advanced research (master's or Ph.D.) focused on AI applications in communication systems. Demonstrated ability to contribute original insights and innovative solutions at the intersection of AI and communication technologies.

3. Technical Proficiency:

- Fundamental AI Knowledge: Solid grasp of core AI concepts, including but not limited to：Data Science, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, NLP, IR&CV, Forcasting, Anomaly Detection, Recommendation system, Transfer Learning, Reinforcement Learning, ResNet，Transformer，LLM(LLaMA, GLM，GPT) etc. Understanding of the mathematical and algorithmic foundations underlying these domains.

- Communication Expertise: Deep understanding of communication theorem, architectures and standards (e.g., 5G, LTE). Familiarity with signal processing in wireless physical & mac layer including but not limited to synchronization, encode&decode, mod&demod, channel estimation, equalization, PN cancellation, beamforming etc.

4. Problem-Solving & Innovation:

- Critical Thinking: Ability to identify, analyze, and prioritize system pain points or critical issues, leveraging AI as an enabler for solving complex communication challenges.

- Solution Design: Capacity to design, develop, and implement AI-driven solutions that enhance communication system performance, efficiency, or user experience, considering both technical feasibility and business value.

5. Collaboration & Communication Skills:

- Teamwork: Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including domain experts in communication, software engineering, and data science.

- Communication: Clear and concise communication of complex technical concepts and project progress to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
