Role Summary
Manages the activities and personnel associated with providing technical services for computer hardware or networked systems to internal customers. Identifies, prioritizes and resolves reported problems utilizing internal employees or outsourced service providers. Specializes in providing technical services to internal customers by identifying, prioritizing, and confirming resolution of reported problems with desktop, laptop, and networked systems. Ensures that installations, software, hardware, operating systems and configuration issues are properly addressed, monitored and resolved.Key Responsibilities
- 3 to 6 years of strong Experience in IT
- Handling requests from staff for assistance across all aspects of the IT infrastructure.
- Troubleshooting & fault investigation across the entire IT infrastructure
- Desktop environment, back end infrastructures like Windows Domains , Storage, Network, Servers etc
- Software installation & configuration and troubleshooting
- User account management
Job Requirements
- Strong experience of Windows Server back end infrastructure (AD, Azure , etc)
- Strong experience of Windows desktop environment.
- Good understanding and entry level of Linux System Administration skills
- Good understanding of IP network infrastructure & configuration (DNS, DHCP, etc)
- Good understanding of IT security (firewalls, corporate virus checking, DMZ’s, VPN, etc.)
- Good knowledge of laptop/desktop/server hardware fault diagnosis
- Good experience on virtualization technologies
- Experience in an IT support role
- Must be highly motivated and reliable.
- Must have good communication and documentation skills.
- Must have a flexible and adaptable attitude.
